This page shows the main group training sessions for the club. Keep an eye on the homepage and the training facebook page for any last-minute updates to the sessions below. If you are an established runner come to one of the sessions in Dangan, introduce yourself and chat with the leader to find out what session will suit you. Tuesday 7.00pm-8:30pm Intervals/Hills/Long Repetitions - Track at Dangan

A regular club track session at the athletics track in Dangan. Warm-up beforehand at 7pm around hockey pitch. Wednesday 7pm Westside Track All welcome, session geared at 20 - 30 minute 5km.(Also 11am at Danagan on Saturday.)

Thursday 7pm Speedwork Run - Dangan Pavilion

Warm-up starts at 7pm, with various speedwork sessions following.

Saturday 10am Long reps/Hills/Tempo Session - Dangan Pavilion

Starts with a warm-up.

Sunday 9:00am Long Run - Cathedral

The Sunday morning run starting at the Cathedral (on the footpath opposite main Cathedral doors) has become an institution. This is about 11 miles although shorter options are available.
