Recent Results.

Race 3 5k Series. Race three took place in Loughrea on Tuesday last. First GCH to finish was Michael Kerrin in sixth place (17.31) while first female GCH finisher and first female overall was Jane Ann Meehan (18.45).

Galway Juvenile Track and Field Championships . The second day of the 2019 Galway Track and Field Juvenile Championships was held Sunday last in beautiful sunshine in Dangan, with the U13 to U19 age groups taking part in a packed programme of events. Clare Running. Well done to our Fit4Life athletes racing in County Clare last weekend.

Upcoming Fixtures. 

National Track and Field League. Best of luck to the Galway City Harriers Men’s team who will compete in the opening round of the National Track and Field League this Sunday, May 19th in Templemore, Tipperary. Good luck also to the GCH athletes who will compete on the Galway County Women’s Team. Galway County will also field a Men’s county team.

Mayfly 10km Oughterard. This Sunday, 19 May, 2019 sees the 7th edition of the Mayfly 10k Challenge, which has a start time at 1pm. The race is held over a challenging course with stunning views of Lough Corrib and Co. Mayo from the height of New village to the beautiful lakeshore route. Entry link:

5k Series. Race 4 takes place Tuesday 21st in Athenry.

Galway County Senior/Junior/Master (o35, o50, o65) Track & Field Championships Day 1. Takes place on Thursday 23rd May at 7pm in Dangan. Closing date is Wednesday 22nd May at 1pm..

Galway County Combined/Multi Events Championships. Combined events Championships will take place on Sunday 26th May. Events on the day commence at 1pm in Dangan. Open for u12s up to Masters. Closing date is Wednesday 22nd May at 1pm.
