All-Ireland XC Inter-County Championships Tuam Feb 14th

Tuam and County Galway are all set to host the All Ireland Cross Country Inter-County Championships for the firsts time in 42 years this Sunday February 14th. With a home advantage the Galway Team Manager Ian Egan is hoping the Tribes can claim it's first medal in 30 years at the event.

GCH are well represented with many members on the various teams entered, which will be led by Gerry Carty and Siobhan Egan, both Galway City Harriers. The teams include Irish International Gary THornton and Keith Fallon on the men's side. Top Ladies Connacht Champion Niamh Hennelly and Grainne Ni Uallachain. Not forgetting some of our best junior athletes Maebh Brannigan and Eanna Folan.

All roads lead to the Palace Ground, Tuam so please come and support your team. Races start at 12pm with the Junior Women, Junior Men, Senior Women and last but not least Senior Men.
