The 2016-2017 Cross Country Season has finally ended. Some may well have said good riddance, never again, while others are already looking forward to the beginning of the new xc season in October. The long hauls to some of the events and hard slogs around some of the courses, not to mention the training sessions -  well... they say variety is the spice of life !

Well done to all who competed over the season, and hope to see many of you back for the new season !

Attached below is a round up of the season.

April Marathon’s

April is a popular marathon month. GCH had participants running in Boston, Rotterdam, Manchester and London.

In Rotterdam Timmy Jones ran 2.50 a massive achievement in his first ever marathon!! While Martin Kearney ran 3.06 on the day.

In London Sarah Collins straight from her win in the County 10 miler, continued her line of PB’s and out did herself once again by running a massive PB coming home in 3.10………..amazing achievement. There is lots more to see from Sarah!!
