The National Half Marathon takes place in Dublin on Sunday, August 7th. Anyone wishing to enter can do so using the link below . The Club will reimburse entry fee for those who run.
Be sure to select Half Marathon-AAI Member 7 August. You will need your AAI membership number. Contact or message Mags @ 0879234224 for your Reg. number
The National Junior & u23 championships take pace in Tullamore on Saturday 2nd July.Timetable below.

Track times have now changed to 6.30pm at the usual spot each Tuesday night at Dangan Track!!
Track will now be merged wih Galway Triathlon Club members, this will help it group sizes and to ensure a good range of paces.
Please ensure your track fees are paid in advance.
Last date for entries is Sunday 19th June.
There are two upcoming National Track & Field Championships.
The National Senior Track & Field Championships take place on the 25th and 26th June in Morton Stadium, Santry. Closing date for entries is Friday 17th June.
The Under 23 National Track & Field Championships , along with the Junior championships take place on July 2nd in Tullamore
The Athenry Half Marathon (formaly theMoniea Half) takes place on Saturday 25th June at 11am.There is also a 5km on the day.
Entry is €25 for the Half Distance and €15 for the 5km.
If you are looking to break a time there are 1.30, 1.40, 1.50 and 2 hour pacers.

April is a popular marathon month. GCH had participants running in Boston, Rotterdam, Manchester and London.
In Rotterdam Timmy Jones ran 2.50 a massive achievement in his first ever marathon!! While Martin Kearney ran 3.06 on the day.
In London Sarah Collins straight from her win in the County 10 miler, continued her line of PB’s and out did herself once again by running a massive PB coming home in 3.10………..amazing achievement. There is lots more to see from Sarah!!
Craughwell AC hosted last nights second race in the Galway Renault 5k Series this evening 3rd May 2016. Always a contender for a PB course with a FAST start this year saw a huge number of runners come from far and wide to take on the second leg of the series.
The weather was a lot better than last week, with the sun shining amongst some intermittent clouds and aside from the little wind there was no reason for complaints!!!
