They were rewarded with silver and bronze respectively, separated by just 0.18s and less than 0.5s behind winner Megan O'Brien of Clonmel AC (out of shot). Hard Work Pays Off At Juvenile National Indoors

All-Ireland Indoors Days 1 & 2. March 28th/29th 2009

Galway City Hrs had a very positive start to the All-Ireland Juvenile indoor T&F championships winning 6 medals, 3 gold & 3 bronzes. All the hard work Pauline Harrington put in with her sprint squad really paid off.
Laura Ann Costello had a great weekend winning the under 13 girls 60m hurdles 10.39 seconds in a very tight finish and finishing third in a photo finish in the 60m in 8.53 seconds only 6 hundreds of a second separating the first three.


Connacht Indoors U-15-Senior Results

Official results for the Connacht Indoors, U15 to Senior, are attached. These were held in Nenagh last weekend. GCH athletes won a total of 34 gold medals over the course of the two days. This weekend is the first weekend of the All-Ireland indoors with the second weekend taking place in Magherafelt on 4th and 5th of April. Best of luck to all the athletes and coaches for these championships.
