We had a great workshop with Liz Egan yesterday evening. Liz led us through some practical exercises with key life skills of goal setting, prioritising and planning. It was superb to have a mix of our youth, senior and masters members learning together.

These were a great complement to the workshop by Karen Weekes in February on applying the mind to maximum effect. The planning templates and advice sheets are available here for all.

A great talk last night from Dr Karen Weekes - lots of practical advice on how to deal with the boredom, fatigue and pain of training and tips on motivation. Plenty of food for thought for us - I'm sure everyone came away with something they can apply to their training and racing.

A follow-on session around goal-setting is being planned for GCH members in late March/early April. Watch this space.
