Attached is the provisional Track timetable and provisional Field timetable for the Connaught Track & Field Championships, which take place this Saturday, June 15th, Sligo IT. ( competition for u14s-u19s, Senior & Master).

The Connacht Championships for U9s to U13s took place in Dangan on Saturday in wet and windy conditions. Well done to all our athletes who took part on the day. A big thank you to Amanda Hynes and to all who officiated on the day.
There were a number of medal winners and qualifiers for the Nationals after a long day of competition.
At U9 level Aisling Tauchen and Matilda Carroll won bronze in the 60m sprint teamed pair.
There will be no training on Friday 7th June for 9 to 12 year olds due to the Connacht Championships the following day.

The Connaught Senior and Master Track & Field Championships (along with the u14-u19s) will take place on Saturday 15th June, at Sligo IT.

Day 3 of the Galway Senior/Master/Junior Championships takes place tomorrow evening, Thursday 6th June. Hammer event starts at 6.15pm with track events from 7pm in Dangan. Track events include 10,000m County Championship races, plus open mile and sprint races. Timetable below.
Enter is via club secretaries or on the night from 6.15pm.

Galway 5k Series. The final leg of the 5k series, hosted by GCH was held in Clarinbridge yesterday evening in damp conditions. Big thank you to all our volunteers/marshalls/caterers and thank you to the photographer and red tag timing over the series. Thank you to the GCH Director on the night and to the overall 5k Committee and directors and all the clubs involved in the series, Thank you to Patricia Monaghan for the lovely cakes and buns. Well done to all of the GCH athletes who competed in the overall series.
Ireland’s best schools’ athletes competed in the Irish Life Health All Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships in Tullamore on Saturday (June 1st). Just making the start line here is a major achievement for the athletes so congrats to all our athletes who competed on the day, the club is immensely proud of you all.
Galway City Harriers host the last race in the 2019 Windsor Motors and HSE sponsored Galway 5km Series on Tuesday, June 4th at 8.00 pm. In Clarinbridge. The race starts at Kilcornan House in Clarinbridge. The route is exactly the same as last year. Details of the route are available at https://www.5km.ie
