The County Cross Country Championships for Uneven ages took place in Loughrea today in warm and pleasant conditions. GCH juveniles has some great success with two individual wins for Mia Craughwell in the U13 Girls race and Emma Moore in the U15 Girls race. The U15 Boys and U15 Girls both took home the team gold for GCH. Once again thank you to the Organisers and the team of volunteers for this event and to Iain Shaw for the live results.

The format is similar to previous years with a Buffet Dinner, Dessert and Tea/Coffee followed by presentation of the Awards.

GCH had four athletes competing at the All Ireland Combined Events for Secondary Schools in AIT at the weekend.
Connaught Senior League: details of Leg 1 below, plus dates/venues for Legs 2 & 3. Closing date for Leg 1 is Monday evening 8th October. Please read details below and contact the club secretary if you wish to compete in any of the races.

The Galway County Cross Country Championships for Junior,Senior and Masters will take place on Sunday next 7th October at the Palace Grounds,Tuam ( preceeded by the juvenile uneven ages which commence at 1 pm) . Pre entry only.

Many thanks to all schools for attending and competing at the 2018 Galway Primary Schools Cross Country Semi Finals, held yesterday in Renmore. A record entry of almost 2,000 took part in a fantastic day of running , from schools right across the county.We hope that students, and all parents and supporters in attendance enjoyed the day Attached are the Provisional Semi final results .The Finals will be held Tuesday next October 2nd in Renmore
