Cross Country Training will resume on Sunday 4th September in Dangan for athletes who are interested in competing in the upcoming Cross Country races. This training is suitable for athletes born 2005 and older only. This group will also train on Friday nights at 7pm. Details of training for younger groups and the sprint group to follow soon.

Important Track Fees Information

The GCH Track Sessions on Tuesday evenings are proving to be very popular with significant numbers attending every week. The Final Term of 2016 has begun and all members are invited to participate.

To take maximum advantage of available daylight sessions will continue with a 6:30pm start time for September.

Important notes: - Meet point for warm-up, drills and the session briefing will be at the Hockey Pitch, not the Athletics track.

The Dublin City Marathon team organisers have secured permission to increase their capacity by an extra 2000 . So if you have not already so, please put your name on waiting list. The link is below. You will still not be guranteed a place. I have done all I can re with AAI and Dublin Marathon team.

National Half Marathon, Track & Field League , Race Committee

Last weekend was a very busy and successfull weekend for the club.

Congrats to the GCH mens  team who took bronze in the final of the National Track & Field  League in Tullamore. Great team effort over all three rounds. Well done to manager Brendan Glynn and all the coaches who have built up this team over the years. Well done also to the Galway County womens team who reached the final, with some GCH women competing on the team.
