Many runners log their miles using a GPS-enabled watch. The map below shows the areas in Galway that have been most logged for running. Dark blue means it's a route used a lot, and red used even more. Cappagh Rd (Parkrun), The Prom, Dangan and the racecourse are all heavily logged. A similar view is available for biking routes, or biking and running combined:
All members are invited to join us at a social gathering in Munroes, Dominic St. on Saturday 21st February from 8pm. As well as a chance to catch up with friends and glam-up there will be some Club Awards to recognise the achievements over the past year.
Awards will start around 8:45pm, including awards various county, provincial and national team medal winners, as well as for the Club Challenge and our club leaders. See you there!
So after all the sweat, tears, sunshine, rain, sleet, wind, (more rain, sleet and wind it seemed than sun) the final results of the 2014 GCH Club challenge are in. Congrats to all participants!!
