Well done to all our athletes who competed at the recent County Cross Country Championships at the Palace Grounds in Tuam (Oct.6th). Great competition over a tough course with GCH athletes Kathryn Casserly and John Moroney winning their respective races and taking the Senior titles. Kathryn Casserly of GCH powered her way to victory in the combined Women’s 4000m race, running from the front all the way, to take a well-deserved victory. Clubmate Jane Ann Meehan had a great run to claim the second senior women's place.
